Discover Larnaka , one of the oldest cities in Cyprus. It combines the mysticism of the old era and the freshness of modern life. Built near the seaside and enriched by beautiful beaches.Larnaka is a town with many archaeological sites. It has six museums within walking distance from its centre and its art galleries and workshops are mere sources of inspiration. The cultural life in Larnaka is an interesting experience, and many events are organized by the town’s Municipality almost on a daily basis.Tourism has been one of the major sources of income for Larnaca. The town's unique character of combining historical and religious sites with the sandy beaches makes it an attractive tourist destination. Luxurious hotel resorts with restaurants, bars and night clubs have been developed to accomodate and entertain the increasing number of tourists who visit the town every year.

Larnaca has recently experienced a rapid growth in commercial and business activity through the opening of major shopping outlets and the upgrading of the downtown shopping centre. The town also serves as an important financial centre as many offshore enterprises and local banks have offices there. The availability of new offices at low rental rates and the town's lower cost of living have been important factors for all these businesses to be established in Larnaca.

Larnaka boasts the International Airport which handles over 50 scheduled flights per day, a commercial port, a marina, the only free Industrial Zone in Cyprus, three industrial estates and three industrial zones.
